When you are planning your experiment, you should take account of any risks. Obviously, your teacher will not let you do anything really dangerous, even so, you must include comments about any hazards that you might face in the experiments and how you will make sure that you don’t have an accident. This is a “Risk Assessment”.
e.g. “doing xxx might be a bit risky, but the chance of having an accident is low if I am careful and if I do have an accident the damage will be minor, so I will carry on but be careful.”
Or “doing yyy is very risky, and if I do it that way I am almost certain to have an accident and that could be a bit nasty, so I will not do it that way.”
